Manchester United considers Harry Kane and Victor Osimhen as potential summer targets

Manchester United is apparently regarding a move for either Harry Kane or Victor Osimhen in the season.

Confirming to James Ducker (The Telegraph), Erik ten Hag is eyeing a marquee winger signing and has shortlisted the duo are the most viable applicant.

United chose a short-phase fix this January by signing former Burnley winger Wout Weghorst on loan.

Anthony Martial‘s poor scratch record will likely power Ten Hag to move for a world-class winger this season.

The report introduces how United must resolve whether to go for the accomplished Kane or the youthful Osimhen.

Both will cost approximately £100 million, so it is up to Ten Hag to determine who would be a better fit for his squad.

Kane is the most all-around winger in world football, gift much more than goals.

His link-up play with players like Heung-Min Son results in plenty of goalscoring chances.

Kane is Premier League proven and almost approved to hit the ground screaming at United.

It would be hard to persuade Daniel Levy to sell his most prized asset, but United will surely try.

Osimhen, on the other hand, is one of the most thrilling onwards in the world.

He has scored 16 goals in 17 sports for Napoli, who are at the top of  Serie A.

The 23-year-old would bring pace and vigor to United’s static forward line.

With creative strikers like Jadon Sancho and Antony around him, Osimhen could be fatal in the Premier League.

Napoli owner Aurelio de Laurentiis is expected to demand more than £100m as a transfer fee, with clubs like Chelsea and Paris-Saint Germain also interested.

While Osimhen is an outstanding goalscorer, he is not the ended article and lacks in other areas of the pitch.

Ten Hag must resolve what profile of winger would accompany the players in this United squad.

The report states:  “Sources have likened the condition to the option Sir Alex Ferguson faced as United manager in 2012 when he was selected to join Robin van Persie from Arsenal. Van Persie was 29 at the time, the alike age as Kane now, while Ferguson was too keen on Robert Lewandowski.”
