Manchester United blocked Facundo Pellistri’s loan exit to Watford on Deadline Day

The January transport window has come and gone with Manchester United leading in three players via the loan trade to plug gaping holes in the team.

Aside from incomings, Erik ten Hag also had to contract with outgoings with calm a few conservatory stars wanting to occurrence men’s football while definite first-team players were also looking for regular minutes.

Two players who were continually linked with a loan move further the club through the winter window were Anthony Elanga and Facundo Pellistri.

“The 21-year-old striker had concurred phases to join the Hornets on loan for the remnant of the summer but Erik ten Hag pulled the plug on the move at the eleventh hour,” the report extra.

United’s forward choices are not precisely motivating reliance and with Jadon Sancho still not totally fit to start sports, the 21-year-old could yet resolve issues for the club.

“The Red Devils boss said the club's office to cancel the move later determining that the Uruguayan could have a first-team part to play in the coming months.”

Pellistri has had to wait for the replacement since joining the Red Devils back in the 2020-21 season. But he ultimately got his launch under Ten Hag against Charlton Athletic in the EFL Cup.

Chelsea’s new owners serious about midfield rebuild

Italian journalist calls Victor Osimhen “a brilliant madman”

Manchester United transport target Victor Osimhen has been reported as a “brilliant madman” by a leading Italian correspondent. As described in Sport Witness, journalist Gianni Visnadi has heaped applause for the in-form winger.
